Stage Manager

The ideal applicant will have exceptional organisational skills, be passionate about the performing arts and have experience in stage management.
Stage managers have several key responsibilities and tasks to perform in each phase of a production, including:
scheduling and running rehearsals
communicating the director's wishes to designers and theatre technicians
coordinating the work of the stage crew
calling cues and actors' entrances during performance
overseeing the entire show each time it is performed

The position is offered as part of a co-op (profit share) agreement. The season runs 14th October - 17th November 2012, rehearsals are currently underway.

Upstart Theatre Company offers the opportunity to work with 2 exciting, experienced directors and a professional cast of actors on a couple of Shakespeare's most famous works.
