EOI: Temporary and Ephemeral Public Art for Queen’s Baton Relay Celebrations
Details: The City of South Perth invites proposals from emerging and experienced artists interested in developing works of temporary public art to celebrate the passage of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay through the City of South Perth. The Queen’s Baton Relay makes the South Perth foreshore an international stage on which to showcase temporary works of public art that respond to themes relevant to the nature and spirit of the Commonwealth Games and will draw in and engage the community. This is a unique opportunity for artists to develop and extend their current practice and engage with a broad audience in a way that fulfils their artistic vision and supports the City’s celebration of this occasion of international significance.

Value of Commission: up to $10,000
