Anna Dunnill is an artist and writer working in Perth. Her practice generally investigates the nature of language and communication, with forms including drawing, collage, text, installation, zines and embroidery. Her recent solo exhibition, Notes Toward a Universal Language, was held at Paper Mountain in July 2013.
Anna Dunnill is an artist and writer working in Perth. Her practice generally investigates the nature of language and communication, with forms including drawing, collage, text, installation, zines and embroidery. Her recent solo exhibition, Notes Toward a Universal Language, was held at Paper Mountain in July 2013. She has completed a mural for City of Joondalup in collaboration with Glasgow-based artist Ross Hamilton Frew, exhibited in the City of Perth Light Locker Art Space, and participated in numerous group exhibitions including Hatched: 2009 at PICA.

In addition to a solo art practice, Anna is involved with two artist-run initiatives (Paper Mountain & Aunty Mabel's Zine Distro), writes critical articles and catalogue essays, and has published several short stories and poems.
